9th Annual Patio Records (Boston) Music Fest
Another All-Star cast of U.S and Canadian performers joined us in a celebration of music. Featured north-of-the-border showcasers included Suzie Vinnick and Missy Burgess, who both stunned us with their superb singing.
Coming to us from the Adirondacks were the superbly-voiced and finely-tuned tandem of Karen Savoca and Pete Heitzman.
Traveling all the way from the state of Washington were two exquisite creators and presenters of songs: Nancy Reinhold and Marjorie Richards
Laney Goodman, host of the syndicated "Women In Music" show, both MC'd the event and serenaded us with her sensational vocalizations.
Indeed, no Music Fest would be complete without the top-shelf cast of accompanists. This year's talented crew included statesiders Dave Mattacks (drums), Richard Gates (bass) and Adam Steinberg (guitar) along side Canadians James Stephens (fiddle), Vince Halfhide (guitars) and Alrick Huebener (bass).
All proceeds from this year's event went towards funding the creation and of a Healing Garden at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre in Canada's capital city of Ottawa, Ontario.
